Title:
DOPPLER SHIFT CORRECTION IN THREE-DIMENSIONAL NETWORK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/135368
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention aims to suppress reduction in communications quality caused by doppler shift of reception signals caused by the relative movement of a wireless relay device relative to a terminal device, for each of a plurality of cells, or a ground or offshore feeder station, in a mobile communications system using a mobile wireless relay device which forms the plurality of cells towards the ground while moving through the air. This communications system comprises a wireless relay device that flies through the air, is provided so as to be mobile, forms the plurality of cells towards the ground or the ocean from an antenna having a prescribed altitude, and wirelessly communicates with a terminal device located in each of the plurality of cells. The communications system comprises: an estimation unit that estimates doppler shift in at least either service link wireless communication that is between a terminal device located in a cell and the wireless relay device or feeder link wireless communication that is between the wireless relay device and the ground or offshore feeder station; and a correction unit that corrects the frequency of the at least one wireless communication on the basis of the doppler shift estimation results.
