Abstract:

A Doppler type ultrasonic flowmeter (10A) comprising a Udflow unit (13) as a flow rate data acquiring measure for calculating the speeds of many reflector groups (25) mixed in a fluid to be measured (12), a flow rate distribution calculating means (67) comprising a flow rate distribution calculating unit (70) for processing the flow rate data to calculate the flow rate distribution of the fluid to be measured (12) in a fluid pipeline (11), a center position detecting unit (71) for determining the center position of the fluid pipeline (11), and an area selecting unit (72) for selecting a reflector group (25) used when calculating a flow rate distribution on the basis of divided areas obtained by dividing the interior of the fluid pipeline (11), a flow rate calculating means (68) for further processing the flow rate distribution of the fluid to be measured (12) to calculate a flow rate, and a display monitor (39) for displaying at least one of the calculated flow rate distribution and the flow rate, whereby a more proper flow rate distribution measurement or flow rate measurement is possible even despite variations in flow rate distribution; a flow rate measuring method; and a flow rate measuring program.
