Abstract:
Provided is a friction stir spot welding method including: a welding step for friction-stir-spot welding, in a state in which an object to be welded is supported and the object to be welded is pressed by an end surface of a clamp member, the object to be welded by a pin member and a shoulder member; and a pressing step for, after the welding step, in a state in which the pin member and the shoulder member are housed in a housing space in the clamp member, pressing a front surface and a rear surface of the object to be welded in at least one of a region that is frictionally stirred and an adjacent region that is adjacent to the frictionally stirred region of the object to be welded, by a friction stir spot welding device from a rotating tool side and the opposite side.
