Abstract:
A double-faced pressure-sensitive adhesive type or sheet characterized in that it comprises a substrate and pressure-sensitive adhesive layers formed respectively on both sides thereof, the thickness extending from the surface of one of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers to that of the other is 25 µm or less, the two pressure-sensitive adhesive layers differ in tackiness, and the lower-tackiness pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a tack, as measured by the inclination ball tack testing method (inclination angle, 30°; 23°C; 65 %RH) as provided for in JIS Z 0237, of a ball number 3 or higher. The substrate has a thickness of preferably 10 µm or smaller, especially 3 µm or smaller.The thickness of each pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is preferably 6 µm or smaller. The double-faced pressure-sensitive adhesive type or sheet is thin and can be tenaciously bonded when applied. It can be easily separated from one of the adherends when stripped off.
