Abstract:
As a swing roll (36) is provided above a pasting roll (14) and the swing roll (36) is movable in the directions of the arrows, the number of ridges of a single-faced corrugated cardboard (k) which come into contact with the pasting roll (14) at the same time, at a nip portion (N) between the pasting roll (14) and a pressing roll (20), can be adjusted, and the amount of paste to be applied to the top (m) of the ridge of the single-faced corrugated cardboard (k) can be optimized. Also, as the pressing roll (20) is arranged to be horizontal relative to the pasting roll (14), the influence from the deflection caused by the weight of the pressing roll (20) itself can be prevented, and a uniform coating in the width direction is possible. As the single-faced corrugated cardboard (k) is wound around the pressing roll (20) at the exit side of the nip portion (N), a splash (s) of the paste can be recovered in a paste bath (12), and the position (d) at which the single-faced corrugated cardboard (k) is separated from the surface of the pasting roll can be stabilized.
