Abstract:
In order to create a double-flowered or semi-double-flowered pentas plant having a high ornamental value with voluminous small flowers, provided are: a pentas plant having the double-flower gene that is inherited in a monogenic incomplete dominance pattern; a method for growing the same; and a method for imparting a double-flower or semi-double-flower phenotype to a pentas variety.
