Title:
DOUBLE-LAYER ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003081617
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to double-layer electrochemical capacitors and can be used for developing electrical energy storage devices for various power supply networks. The aim of the invention is to prolong the service life of a capacitor for the operation at a temperature of higher than 40 DEG C. Said invention is characterised in that: - an alkali electrolyte contains at least one of the following substances used as an additive: lithium hydroxyl, aluminium compounds, silicium compounds and boron compounds; - an electrode contains at least one of the following substances used as an additive: calcium hydroxide or oxide, titanium hydroxide or oxide, sternum hydroxide or oxide and hydroxide or oxide of a lanthanide group element.
