Abstract:

Provided is a drug delivery system that is capable of shallowly puncturing the skin and surely delivering a drug. A transdermal absorption preparation comprising a solid microneedle containing a medical component, the both ends of said microneedle being in a needle-like shape with an acute angle; and a drug, in particular, a vaccine preparation for animals comprising a solid microneedle containing an antigen component of a pathogen, the both ends of said microneedle being in a needle-like shape with an acute angle.
