Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a double-row ball bearing which can be installed requiring a reduced space and which has high resistance to a load. [Solution] An inner race 3 is split into two pieces consisting of a first inner race 31 and a second inner race 32. The first inner race 31 has formed thereon a first curved surface 34 constituting a first raceway space A1. The second inner race 32 has formed thereon a second curved surface 36 constituting a second raceway space A1. The small-diameter section 51 of a shaft 5 is passed through the first inner race 31 and the second inner race 32 with a gap maintained therebetween, a staking section 52 formed at the front end of the small-diameter section 51 is in pressure contact with the first inner race 31, and a side surface of a large-diameter section 53 is in contact with the second inner race 32.
