Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide double-sided adhesive tape for portable electronic devices, which tape exhibits high adhesion after thermal-pressure bonding and excellent shock resistance even with a small width. The present invention pertains to double-sided adhesive tape for portable electronic devices, the tape having an adhesive layer on each side of a base member. At least one of the adhesive layers contains 100 parts by weight of an acrylic copolymer with a weight average molecular weight of 400000-1000000, which contains 45-90 wt% of a structural unit derived from butyl acrylate and 5-40 wt% of a structural unit derived from 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and 40-60 parts by weight of an tackifier resin and has a shear modulus G' of 1.0×106 to 8.0×106 Pa at a temperature of 23 °C. The 40-60 parts by weight of the tackifier resin contains 5-30 parts by weight of an tackifier resin (a) having a softening point of 100°C or less.
