Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first and second coating device (5a, 5b) that respectively coat a coating liquid for forming a heat-resistant protecting layer (103) at the two surfaces of a substrate (100) at which an active material layer (102) has been formed ahead of time; a first and second edge detector (41, 43) that respectively detect the edge positions in the widthwise direction of the active material layer (102) formed at both surfaces of the substrate (100) subjected to coating by the first and second coating device (5a, 5b); and a first and second moving mechanism (45, 47) that, on the basis of the edge positions detected by the first and second edge detector (41, 43), move the position of the substrate (100) in the widthwise direction thereof. The positions of each region subject to coating on the two surfaces of the substrate (100) are separately adjusted.
