Abstract:
A double-sided composite eyeglass lens and a preparation mold therefor. One surface of the lens is an aspherical surface or a toric surface having a gradually decreasing diopter, the other surface is a specially designed aspherical surface used to ease astigmatism, and an eyeglass lens formed by combining the two surfaces satisfies two different functions: optimizing optical performance, and beautification and thinning. In the area of optimizing optical performance, by means of controlling the reduction of diopter and optimizing astigmatism on one surface, and inversely offsetting astigmatism on the other surface, the degree of light scattering of an eyeglass lens formed by the two sides together is significantly lower than diopter variation, and the degree of oblique light scattering is significantly reduced. In the area of beautification and thinning, the beautification and thinning effects of reducing the edge or center thickness of the double-sided composite lens are significantly enhanced by means of accelerating reduction of the diopter on one side and changing from reducing to increasing the diopter on the other side. This type of double-sided composite lens features a light, thin, flat appearance, and maintains sufficient comfort and adaptability to wear.
