Abstract:
Disclosed are a down-sampling method, up-sampling method, and transmission processing method of video frames. By utilizing two properties that most energy of video frames subjected to discrete cosine transform is concentrated in low-frequency coefficients and space domains corresponding to high-frequency coefficients are sparse, the video frames are subjected to the discrete cosine transform, and then are down-sampled to cut out the low-frequency coefficients, and the space domains corresponding to the high-frequency coefficients are down-sampled by using a compression sensing theory. At an up-sampling end, the low-frequency coefficients obtained by the down-sampling are expanded to the same size as original video frames by means of high-frequency coefficient zero-padding, and then are returned to the space domains by means of inverse discrete cosine transform; meanwhile, the space domains corresponding to the high-frequency coefficients are recovered by using a compression sensing reconstruction algorithm. Finally, reconstructed video frames consistent with the original video frames in height are obtained by adding up space domain components obtained by low-frequency coefficient zero-padding and space domain components obtained by using the high-frequency compression sensing reconstruction algorithm. Compared with the conventional solution, in the case of a same down-sampling ratio, the video frames obtained by up-sampling in the method of the present invention have higher similarity to the original video frames.
