Abstract:
An ECU 10 comprising: a valve control unit 101 for reducing the valve opening for at least either an intake throttle valve or an exhaust throttle valve, so that the temperature on the upstream side of a DOC reaches a prescribed temperature; and a deposition condition determination unit 105 for determining whether or not the deposited amount of SOF deposited in the DOC meets a deposition condition whereby same exceeds a prescribed deposition amount. The valve control unit 101 includes an aperture opening reduction control execution unit 102 for executing aperture opening reduction control whereby the aperture opening for the valve is smaller when the deposition condition is met than when the deposition condition is not met.
