Disclosed is a DPF system which is more convenient than conventional DPF systems. The disclosed DPF system is provided with: a DPF (25) which is formed from a CSF (29) that is connected to the exhaust pipe (20) of a diesel engine (10) and collects PM in exhaust gas, and a DOC (28) which is disposed on the upstream side of the CSF (29); and temperature sensors (30a, 30b) which are disposed on the upstream and downstream sides of the DOC (28) respectively. When the amount of PM accumulated by the CSF (29) exceeds a certain amount, the DPF system makes it such that the temperature detected by the upstream-side temperature sensor (30a) is at least a first threshold amount, and the temperature detected by the downstream-side temperature sensor (30b) is at least a second threshold amount, and carries out DPF regeneration. The second threshold value is increased when a malfunction is detected in the upstream-side temperature sensor (30a).
