Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To increase workability of piping work by securely preventing leakage of drainage from drain piping of an air conditioner indoor machine placed on a ceiling etc. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] The drain hose joint for the air conditioner indoor machine has a mounting part (3) formed from a cylindrical elastic body, the mounting part (3) being capable of receiving the insertion of a drain pipe (la) so as to surround the outer peripheral part of a drain pipe (la) of the air conditioner indoor machine (1); a hose (4) continuing to the mounting part (3) and having heat insulating property and elasticity; a reinforcement part (5) formed in a boundary portion between the mounting part (3) and the hose part (4) to reinforce the mechanical strength of the boundary portion; and a tightening part (6) for tightening the mounting part (3) from the outside, with the mounting part (3) inserted in the drain pipe (la) of the air conditioner indoor machine (1). The joint (2) can be easily connected to the drain pipe (la), and water leakage can be securely prevented by the tightening part (6). The reinforcement part (5) is replaceable with a cylindrical reinforcement member formed from stainless steel etc. fitted to the inside of the hose (4).
