Abstract:
The present invention relates to a drain smell preventing device which is devised such that water is discharged only when the foul water being discharged towards the drain is more than a predetermined amount, and is devised such that a cut-away hole of a holding housing is maintained in a closed state by means of a rotating cover when foul water is not being discharged, and the invention comprises: the holding housing, of which the upper surface is open and which has a cut-away hole formed at an incline in the lower surface; a rotating cover (200) which is rotatably provided in the upper side of the cut-away hole (110) of the holding housing (100); a rotation joint which rotatably joins the rotating cover to the holding housing; and a restoring means which provides a resilient force to the rotating cover.
