A drawer assembly (20) for a refrigerator, comprising a box body (21), a drawer (22) and a modified atmosphere film assembly. A drawer space is defined inside the box body (21); the drawer (22) is slidably mounted on the box body (21); the modified atmosphere film assembly is mounted on the box body (21), is provided with at least one modified atmosphere film and an oxygen-enriched gas collecting cavity, and is configured to enable more oxygen than nitrogen in the drawer space to pass through the modified atmosphere film to enter the oxygen-enriched gas collecting cavity. The drawer assembly can form, inside the drawer space, a nitrogen-rich and oxygen-poor gas atmosphere beneficial to food preservation; the gas atmosphere reduces the aerobic respiration intensity of fruits and vegetables by reducing the oxygen content in a fruit and vegetable preservation space, while ensuring a basic respiration effect to prevent the fruits and vegetables from performing anaerobic respiration, thereby achieving the goal of long-term preservation of the fruits and vegetables.
