Abstract:
Provided are a drawing device and a drawing method configured so that high quality drawing can be carried out on the entire region of a curved drawing target surface by performing drawing in which a first liquid drop and a second liquid drop having a larger liquid drop amount than the first liquid drop are used for different purposes. The drawing device is provided with a drawing head 41 and a processor 81 for controlling the drawing head 41. The drawing head 41 draws an image by forming, on a drawing target surface that is curved in a convex shape along a first direction, a first liquid-drop dot formed by a first liquid drop and/or a second liquid-drop dot formed by a second liquid drop having a larger liquid drop amount than the first liquid drop. The processor 81 controls the drawing head 41 so as to form, on the basis of image drawing data and within an adjustment region of at least one end of the first direction of the drawing target surface, the second liquid-drop dot in at least a part of a first liquid-drop dot forming planned region where the first liquid-drop dot is to be formed. The drawing data is image data for drawing an image on a surface that is not curved.
