Abstract:
Disclosed is a drawing process for an arc corner connecting rib of a metal box casing. The drawing process comprises the following steps: preparing a rectangular metal casing (01), the corner parts thereof being arranged as arc corner transition portions (013); using a first metal drawing die (02) for a primary drawing of a top panel (011) of the rectangular metal casing, so that a plurality of first convex strips (012) are formed in a first region (016) between two of the arc corner transition portions of the top panel; and using a second metal drawing die (03) for a secondary drawing of a side panel (017) and the arc corner transition portions of the rectangular metal casing shaped by the primary drawing, so that a plurality of second convex strips (015) are formed in a second region (014) between two of the arc corner transition portions of the side panel. According to the present drawing process, the arc corners are regular and the stress capacity thereof is improved by drawing twice; meanwhile, convex embosses can be formed on the casing, which are attractive and durable. Mould release is facilitated in the whole manufacturing process, the production process is simplified, and the occurrence rate of defective goods is lowered.
