Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a drawn-and-ironed can that has both coating film peeling resistance during a heat treatment after formation and retort whitening resistance during a retort treatment after filling. [Solution] A drawn-and-ironed can that comprises a coated metal plate that comprises a metal base material that has a coating film on at least one surface thereof, the drawn-and-ironed can being characterized in that the coating film contains a polyester resin as a principal agent and an amino resin that comprises a mixture of a melamine resin and a benzoguanamine resin as a curing agent, the mass ratio of the melamine resin and the benzoguanamine resin of the amino resin being 95:5–5:95, and there being less than 10 parts by mass of the amino resin per 100 parts by mass of the polyester resin.
