Abstract:
This invention relates to a method of producing a printed can by drawing or drawing and redrawing a metallic blank or laminate that is printed in advance. The preparation of an original plate for printing is conducted by computer image processing to reproduce faithfully the printed image on the sidewall of the can. The occurrence of undesired striped patterns can be prevented, and a printed image having high linearity can be displayed on the drawn can without error because anisotropy resulting from plastic flow of the can blank has been corrected.
