Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a drift-assessment device capable of assessing drift with high precision and good energy efficiency using a configuration provided with two detection means for assessing drift. The present invention is a drift-assessment device (1) provided with a turning information detection unit (11) for detecting turning information of a vehicle, and an image recognition/detection unit (10) for detecting position information of a vehicle in relation to a vehicle lane using image recognition of a photographed image including a road while driving, wherein the drift-assessment device (1) is characterized in being provided with: a vehicle-speed detection unit (12) for detecting vehicle speed; a selection unit (31) for selecting the image-recognition/detection unit (10) when the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle-speed detection unit (12) is at or above a predetermined speed, and selecting the turning-information detection unit (11) when the vehicle speed is below the predetermined vehicle speed; and a drift-assessment unit (32) for assessing drift of the vehicle on the basis of vehicle position information in relation to a vehicle lane when the image-recognition/detection unit (10) has been selected by the selection unit (31), and for assessing drift of the vehicle on the basis of vehicle turning information when the turning-information detection unit (11) has been selected by the selection unit (31).
