Abstract:
A drill polishing device which is capable of polishing a candle-shaped drill requiring Z type thinning, and comprises a grindstone, a drill holder, a drill adjustment base, a drill grinding base and a drill thinning base. A polishing surface of said grindstone comprises a parallel surface formed in parallel to an axis of rotation of the grindstone, a relief surface formed in front of the parallel surface, an inclined surface for a thinning work formed on a back side of the parallel surface at a predetermined angle, and a second parallel surface formed on a back side of the inclined surface. A drill thinning base is structured in such a way that the drill can be brought into contact with the polishing surface of the grindstone in an angle required for performing the Z type thinning.
