Abstract:
A drill 1 is provided with: a tip cutting edge 9 disposed at the tip thereof; and a main cutting edge 10 that is continuous to the rearward of the tip cutting edge 9. The point angle of the tip cutting edge 9 is a prescribed acute angle. The point angle of the main cutting edge 10 decreases from the front end toward the rear end of the main cutting edge. The point angle at the front end of the main cutting edge 10 is an acute angle greater than the point angle of the tip cutting edge 9.
