Abstract:

The present invention suppresses a decrease in boring efficiency and reduces the cost of repolishing by way of suppressing the progress of wear width on the distal end of a tip body of a drilling tip. Provided is a drilling tip that is mounted to the distal end face of a tool body of a drilling tool for imparting a striking force to the distal end side in the axial direction while being rotated about the shaft axis, said drilling tip comprising a tip body (1) in which a cylindrical basal end section (2) and a distal end section (3) projecting from the basal end section (2) toward the distal end side are integrally formed. The distal end section (3) comprises a convex curved face section (4) that projects to the distal end side of the tip body (1), and a protruding section (5) that extends along the diameter direction with respect to the centerline C of the basal end section (2) as seen from the distal end side of the tip body (1) and further projects toward the distal end side from the surface of the convex curved face section (4).
