Abstract:
The invention relates to an offshore drilling vessel (1), the offshore drilling vessel comprising a BOP transport track (20) and an associated BOP transport cart (22). The BOP transport track extends between a BOP storage and a firing line, to enable transporting a BOP 17 between the BOP storage and the firing line. According to the invention, the BOP transport cart is provided with a BOP support floor (26), which BOP support floor is pivotably supported such that the support floor can pivot between a support position for supporting the BOP and a clearance position for allowing the BOP to be lowered through the BOP transport cart. In an embodiment, the BOP transport crat is furthermore configured for suspending a BOP therefrom.
