Abstract:
In order to more accurately determine whether or not alcohol is drunk, a frequency dynamic information processing means (610) for obtaining the trend of time-series variation regarding the frequency of the pulse wave of the back detected by an air bag, and a drunken state determination means (650) for determining a drunken state when the trend of the time-series variation regarding the frequency obtained by the frequency dynamic information processing means (610) differs from the trend of time-series variation regarding the frequency when no alcohol is drunk are provided. The drunken or non-drunken state is determined by a comparison with the time-series variation regarding the frequency when no alcohol is drunk, and also determined not only by frequency-analyzing the frequency of the pulse wave that changes according to a person's physical condition but also using the time-series variation thereof, and thus whether or not alcohol is drunk can be determined more accurately than in the prior art.
