Abstract:
A drinking water supply device, comprising a container (1) storing drinking water such as natural water and city water and disposed detachably, a water cooler (22) cooling the drinking water led from the container (1) therein, a sterilizer (5) installed in the water cooler (22) and sterilizing the drinking water in the cooler (22), a cool water valve (23) controlling water supply and stop operations for the drinking water in the water cooling device (22), and a container detector (4) detecting whether the container (1) is removed or not. After the container detector (4) detects that the container (1) is removed, the sterilizer (5) is driven for a specified time. Thus, bacterium invaded in the container (1) can be annihilated at a proper time and good timing.
