Abstract:
A drip state detecting device (10) is a device for detecting the state of drip tube (50) which drips droplets from a lower end (55a) of a nozzle (55), and is provided with an image capturing unit (22) which captures images of a droplet growing at the lower end (55a) of the nozzle (55), until the droplet drips from the lower end (55a) of the nozzle (55), and a state detecting unit (203) which detects the state of the drip tube (50) on the basis of image data obtained by means of the image capture by the image capturing unit (22), wherein the state detecting device (203) calculates the direction of movement of the droplet on the basis of at least three sets of image data obtained by means of the image capture by the image capturing unit (22) at at least three mutually different timings during the growth of the droplet, and detects the state of the drip tube (50) on the basis of the direction of movement.
