Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a drive apparatus for a laser radar, which apparatus is used for driving lasers, wherein the plurality of lasers operate in turn. The drive apparatus comprises: a plurality of drive units, which are used for driving a plurality of lasers to sequentially emit light according to preset timing, wherein each drive unit comprises at least one energy storage unit, and is configured to provide energy for light emission of the corresponding laser; and an energy transfer unit, which is coupled to a plurality of energy storage units, and is configured to transfer, to an energy storage unit of another laser, at least part of the remaining energy of an energy storage unit corresponding to a laser that has emitted light. By means of the drive apparatus for a laser radar provided in the present invention, remaining energy in an energy storage unit corresponding to the currently operating laser is transferred by means of an energy transfer unit, so as to avoid switching loss caused by emptying the remaining energy in the energy storage unit, such that switching loss of a bus is reduced without changing a capacitance value and a switching frequency. Furthermore, pulse charging loss of the bus can be reduced by means of increasing a capacitance value.
