Abstract:
A controller 10 calculates the absolute speed of an object on the basis of the acquired host vehicle speed and the acquired relative speed of the object relative to the host vehicle. The controller 10 determines the relative movement state of the object in the direction in which the host vehicle is traveling on the basis of the calculated absolute speed of the object. The controller 10 changes a threshold for the absolute speed of the object using the determination of the relative movement state of the object during execution of automatic braking.
