Abstract:
A drive assist device (10) is provided. The drive assist device acquires a first image, a second image, and a third image respectively from a first camera, a second camera, and a third camera. If an object is detected in a first overlap region (26) in which an image-captured region of the first image and an image-captured region of the second image are overlapped, the drive assist device determines whether the positions of the object in the first image and the second image are matched. If the object is detected in a second overlap region (27) in which the image-captured region of the second image and an image-captured region of the third image are overlapped, it is determined whether the positions of the object in the second image and the third image are matched. If the result of the determination indicates an absence of matching in the first overlap region and/or the second overlap region, the drive assist device determines that any of the first camera, the second camera, and the third camera has a mount angle or position misalignment, and identifies the camera having the misalignment.
