Abstract:
This vehicle control device has a detection information acquisition unit and a user interface control unit. The detection information acquisition unit acquires, from a detection unit for detecting the position and/or the state of an occupant in a vehicle, detection information about the detected position and/or the detected state of the occupant. In accordance with the acquired detection information, the user interface control unit determines, from among a plurality of operational input units in the vehicle, an operational input unit that is the easiest for the occupant to operate. Further, the user interface control unit causes an announcement to be made in the vehicle as to a request for consent to the content of processing to be executed upon occurrence of an event, and then enables an approval operation with respect to the operational input unit that can be operated most easily.
