A drive circuit (10) and an electronic device. The drive circuit (10) comprises a first switch circuit (101), a protection circuit (102), and a clamping circuit (103). The first switch circuit (101) comprises a control end (101A), an input end (101B), and an output end (101C). The protection circuit (102) is connected between an output end (20A) of a power supply (20) and the input end (101B) of the first switch circuit (101). The output end (101C) of the first switch circuit (101) is connected to a load (30), and the control end (101A) of the first switch circuit (101) is used for inputting a control signal. The clamping circuit (102) is connected between the output end (10C) of the power supply (20) and the control end (101A) of the first switch circuit (101), and limits a current flowing through the load (30) to be within a preset current when the current flowing through the load (30) is greater than the preset current. Accordingly, by means of the drive circuit (10), an adverse affect on the power supply (20) or the load (30) when the current through the load (30) is excessively great be can avoided.
