Title:
DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE FOR STANDBY FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/048660
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a drive control device for a standby four-wheel drive vehicle which achieves a reduction in the amount of electric power consumed to operate a clutch unit and an increase in the regenerative efficiency of an electric motor, thereby leading to improved fuel economy. When braking command torque (To) calculated by a braking command torque calculation means (124) is less than or equal to rear-wheel regeneration limit torque (TL1) during regenerative braking by an electric motor (M), the amount of electric power consumed to operate a control coupling unit (54) reduces and the regenerative efficiency of the electric motor (M) increases, because a transmission torque control means (126) for causing only rear drive wheels (32) to execute regenerative braking with the transmission torque between a drive source for the vehicle and front drive wheels (30) being set to zero by the control coupling unit (54) is included. Thus, fuel economy is improved.
