Abstract:

This drive device for a hybrid vehicle is provided with: a planetary gear mechanism; a first rotating machine connected to the sun gear of the planetary gear mechanism; a one-way clutch and a mechanism connected to the carrier of the planetary gear mechanism; a drive wheel and a second rotating machine connected to the ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism; and a control device. If there has been a braking command (step S10-Y), the rotational frequency of the first rotating machine is changed to a rotational frequency that is relatively to the forward rotation side (step S40), and braking is executed by a braking device (step S50).
