Abstract:
The present invention may be applied to a drive device, a travel device, and a drive
device control method which can be appropriately used, for example, for a robot
arm and a twin cycle. By eliminating (reducing) the use of changes exceeding a
rated torque of a servo motor, it is possible to increase the machine reliability
and set an appropriate safe ratio so as to reduce the device cost. The operation
value of the actual machine operation time obtained by {(effective torque)2
- (rated torque)2} x (elapse time from start) is compared to a value
based on the rated torque and the system drive is stopped and/or an alarm is started.
