Abstract:
A drive device is configured so that, when a switch is operated to cause a driven clutch (68) to approach a driving clutch (62), driven teeth (72) of the driven clutch (68) are meshed with driving teeth (66) of the driving clutch (62) and driving power is transmitted from the driving clutch (62) to the driven clutch (68). In the driving clutch (62), the height of a single driving tooth (66H) is set to be greater than the heights of all other driving teeth (66), while in the driven clutch (68), the heights of all the driven teeth (72) are set to be the same. As a result, when the driven teeth (72) face the driving teeth (66) when the driven clutch (68) is caused to approach the driving clutch (62), the single driven tooth (72) makes contact with a single driving tooth (66H) to cause the driven clutch (68) and the driving clutch (62) to rotate relative to each other. By this, the driven teeth (72) and the driving teeth (66) can appropriately mesh with each other.
