Abstract:
A rotary electric machine, a speed reduction device (3) including a first planet gear mechanism (31) and a second planet gear mechanism (32), and a differential gear device are arranged in this order and coaxially with the rotary electric machine. In the order of a power-transmitting path, the first planet gear mechanism (31) is arranged more toward the rotary electric machine than the second planet gear mechanism (32), and along the axial direction (L), the first planet gear mechanism (31) is arranged more toward the rotary electric machine than the second planet gear mechanism (32). In the first planet gear mechanism (31) and the second planet gear mechanism (32), the helix angle of the respective helical gears is formed such that the respective thrust forces (SF1, SF2) are in opposite directions from one another in the axial direction (L), and the helix angle (ϴ1) of the helical gear of the first planet gear mechanism (31) is greater than the helix angle (ϴ2) of the helical gear of the second planet gear mechanism (32).
