Abstract:
Provided is a drive device for a vehicle comprising: a drive shaft driven by a driving source; a rotation transmission unit that transmits rotation inputted from the drive shaft to a wheel; a mechanical oil pump that produces a hydraulic pressure through the rotation of the driving source; an electric oil pump (E-OP) that produces a hydraulic pressure from electric power; a hydraulic pressure control device that supplies lubricating oil to the rotation transmission unit on the basis of the hydraulic pressures produced by the mechanical oil pump and the electric oil pump (E-OP); a driving circuit that controls the electric power to be supplied to the electric oil pump (E-OP); and a control unit that can control the driving state of the driving circuit. Additionally, if the temperature of a coolant for cooling the driving circuit is a third start temperature T3a or higher (Yes in S7), the control unit stops the driving circuit and shuts down the electric oil pump (E-OP).
