Abstract:
In order to minimize effects on control precision of a rotary electric machine and to reduce product cost, the present invention pertains to a drive device comprising a rotary electric machine (MG) for wheel drive, an AC rotary electric machine (PM), a first inverter (30), and a second inverter (40). The drive device comprises a current sensor (35) that detects current that flows to the rotary electric machine (MG) for wheel drive and also comprises a shunt resistance (45) that detects current that flows to the inverter (40). The ratio of the time period that current is detectable by the current sensor (35), relative to the first inverter (30) control cycle, is greater than the ratio of the time period that current is detectable by the shunt resistance (45), relative to the second inverter (40) control cycle.
