Abstract:
Provided is a drive device that comprises an open/close mechanism that, even when an opening has been opened by an open/close member, does not make the open/close member protrude to the outside. Specifically, a composite drive device 1 that has: a frame 2 that comprises an opening 20 that opens toward a first side Y1 in a first direction Y; and an open/close member 4 that obstructs the opening 20. An open/close mechanism 6 slides the open/close member 4 so as to open the opening 20 on one side Z1 of at least the open/close member 4 in a second direction Z. The open/close member 4 comprises a plate-like first member 41 and a plate-like second member 42. The open/close mechanism 6 is configured to align the first member 41 with the second member 42 such that the former is on the other side Z2 of the latter in the second direction Z when the opening 20 is closed and to move the second member 42 to the other side Z2 in the second direction Z so as to overlap the first member 41 in the first direction Y when the opening 20 is open.
