Abstract:
This drive device (4) comprises: a drive unit that generates a driving force to rotationally drive a driven unit and that is provided on the outside of the driven unit; a gear group that transmits the driving force generated by the drive unit to the driven unit; a link member (4c) that is provided between the gear group and the driven unit and that is linked to a prescribed gear (20) from a plurality of gears (15–20) contained in the gear group; and a switch unit (25) that can switch the link state of the prescribed gear (20) and the link member (4c) by way of an external force applied in a direction orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the driven part.
