Abstract:
Provided is a drive device with which a driven body can be rotated reciprocally by pressing force from power transmission bodies, such as steel balls, and highly efficient power transmission can be achieved with the minimal possible number of power transmission bodies. In this drive device 1, when an input rotating body 55 rotates in a clockwise direction, a first steel ball line 71 in which many steel balls 7 are arranged in a line moves, a first rod 3 moves toward an output part 6, thereby causing an output rotating body 65 to rotate in conjunction while a fourth steel ball line 82 of the input part 6 moves, and a third steel ball line 81 moves toward the input part 5 due to rotation of the output rotating body 65 and a second rod 4 moves toward the input part 5. The second rod 4 moves in conjunction with the movement of a second steel ball line 72 that moves in the clockwise direction, and an output lever L2 provided on an output shaft 69 of the output rotating body 65 is rotationally driven.
