Abstract:
This drive device is provided with: a housing (2) having a first connection section (C1); a drive section (3); a spindle member (4) rotating by means of the drive of the drive section (3); a nut member (5) engaging with the spindle member (4) through threads; and a movement member (6) connected to the nut member (5). The drive device also has a rotation restriction section (9) which restricts the rotation of the nut (5) and moves the nut member (5) in the direction of the axis X of the spindle member (4). The movement member (6) has a second connection section (C2) and a brittle section (61) which is broken by force less than force required to break the nut member (5). In the drive device, the brittle section (61), when broken, can form a fracture section (62) which enables the movement member (6) to press the nut member (5) toward a drive section (3). The drive device connecting to two base bodies does not separate from any of the base bodies and enables the recognition of application of an excessive load.
