Abstract:
This drive device has: a motor having a rotating motor shaft; a motor housing portion for housing the motor; a gear portion for transmitting the rotation of the motor shaft to an intermediate shaft; and an inverter housing portion for housing an inverter. The gear portion is disposed above the intermediate shaft. A lower wall portion of the inverter housing portion faces the air. The inverter housing portion has a vent that makes the inside of the inverter housing portion and the outside below the inverter housing portion communicate with each other.
