The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a drive-in position of a stopping member with respect to a material to be driven from being shifted. The drive-in machine according to the present invention comprises: an operation member 41; a contact member; a striking portion; and a first pressure chamber, the drive-in machine further comprising: a valve element for opening and closing a first passage through which a compressed fluid is sent to the first pressure chamber; a control mechanism 30 having a first state and a second state in which the valve element is controlled; and a restriction mechanism 154 for allowing and restricting the switching between the first state and the second state of the control mechanism 30. The first state is a state in which the first passage is opened by the valve element, and the second state is a state in which the first passage is closed by the valve element. The restriction mechanism 154 has a first function for allowing the control mechanism 30 to be switched from the second state to the first state when the current time point is within a predetermined time from a reference time point, and a second function for restricting the control mechanism 30 from being switched from the second state to the first state when the predetermined time or more has elapsed from the reference time point.
