Abstract:

A drive method for a display panel drive method. The display panel has a first resolution ratio. The drive method comprises: converting an RGB signal of an input image having a second resolution ratio into a YUV signal corresponding to an output image (S1), wherein a resolution ratio of the output image is not less than the second resolution ratio; converting the YUV signal into an RGB signal corresponding to the output image (S2); converting the RGB signal corresponding to the output image into a drive signal driving the display panel (S3); and outputting the drive signal to the display panel (S4). The drive method can be utilized to drive a display panel with a resolution ratio of 10240 × 4320.
