Abstract:
A drive module for a soft robot having magnetically induced variable rigidity and a manufacturing method therefor. The drive module for a soft robot having magnetically induced variable rigidity comprises a magnetically induced variable rigidity layer (1), a two-degree-of-freedom pneumatic driver (2), a magnetic core (3), and a sealing and fixing device (4). The magnetically induced variable rigidity layer (1) and the two-degree-of-freedom pneumatic driver (2) are the main body of the drive module and, after being integrally formed, encapsulate the magnetic core (3) at the center thereof, and are finally connected to the sealing and fixing device (4) for assembly into the drive module for a soft robot having magnetically induced variable rigidity. The magnetic core (3) can deform together with the two-degree-of-freedom pneumatic driver (2), and a magnetic field can be applied by energizing the magnetic core (3).
